Com2Us shared first gameplay trailers of some of the playable characters in Gachiakuta: The Game, and it means we get to see our first looks at members of Rudo and Team Akuta. The examples highlight what to expect from him, Enjin, Riyo Reaper, and Zanka. It also means we get to see how each of their Vital Instruments works in some small-scale fights. If you watched the anime on Crunchyroll, some of the moves might look familiar.

First, here’s how Rudo will work in Gachiakuta: The Game. He’s the hero we follow as he drops from The Sphere to the Ground after he’s falsely accused of killing his father figure. He wears and uses Watchman Series Gloves, combined with used items he finds, to fight.

Here’s the footage of him from YouTube.

Enjin is the head of Team Akuta and wielder of the Umbreaker umbrella Vital Instrument. He’s one of the first people Rudo meets when he’s chucked into the Abyss at the start of the game.

You can see him below:

Riyo uses a pair of scissors as a Vital Instrument known as The Ripper. We see how she sort of uses it as a slashing weapon in the footage. However, in-series she’s also known to sometimes use a gun, and we don’t see that happen here.

Here’s the Riyo trailer:

Finally, Zanka uses a staff called Lovely Assistaff to fight in his Gachiakuta gameplay trailer. This looks like it will deliver blunt hits to foes. However, he’s able to move quite quickly with some attacks.

Here’s the final of the first four trailers.

Gachiakuta: The Game is in development for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The first season of the anime is streaming on Crunchyroll, with season 2 in development. The manga is handled by Kodansha worldwide.
