Jam Kuradoberi has been a Guilty Gear staple since the second game, and she’ll return as Strive DLC on April 9, 2026. Before that happens, Arc System Works shared a Starter Guide showing how the first Season Pass 5 character will work. The full patch notes for the 2.0 patch that arrives when she debuts are also online and go over all the Jam and Usagi-related additions to the fighting game.
Jam is a close-range character who holds her new rabbit Usagi as she fights, and a key part of her Starter Guide video shows how people can use her Asanagi no Kokyuu attack to power up her other specials. Some of the ones that can be affected are her Gekirin, Ryuujin, and Ryuutsui.
Here’s how the full Jam Starter Guide moveset video looks:
As for the 2.0 update, the major additions have to do with adding her to the roster. She’ll be added as a fighter, her avatar and gallery items will appear, GG World will feature entries for her and Usagi, and the songs “Babel Nose,” “Bao Babel Nose,” and “Trying hard is hard, so I try hard to try hard” will be added. The new Cradled by the Four Beasts stage will show up too, but you need to buy Season Pass 5 to get it.
While Jam Kuradoberi is confirmed for Guilty Gear Strive, another Season Pass 5 character also ended up teased at 2025-2026 Arc World Tour Finals. Robo-Ky will be back too. He doesn’t have a release date, however. We do know that pass will run until Spring 2027 and include the two of them and two as-yet-unrevealed fighters. That’s not the only instance of one special being carried over into another, as her Bakushuu attack can be followed by her Brake or Hyappo Shinshou moves.
Guilty Gear Strive is on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, XBox Series X, and PC, and the Season Pass 5 DLC rollout will start when Jam Kuradoberi returns to the series on April 9, 2026.
