As part of the Level-5 Vision 2026 Craftmanship stream, the company once again teased its “New Concept Next Yo-kai Watch” game called Holy Horror Mansion. There’s no new release window for the title, and no platforms came up. However, the English website updated and a trailer that noted there’s “still a ways to go” appeared as part of the presentation. This means the game could still be a few years away from launch.

The new video highlights more elements of the game’s concept. Ten Lordland and his family live in his grandma’s apartment building. After finding an odd camera, Ten learns ghosts exist. It falls to him to use it to interact with spirits and fulfill certain quests in the complex and around town. The initial announcement also confirmed De Ville Corp is a company aware of the existence of the supernatural that wants to exploit them.

The latest Holy Horror Mansion teaser doesn’t get into that, however. It spends over a minute showing actual gameplay footage. We see Ten wandering around town looking for ghosts with the camera. At the very end, snapping a picture of a recycling bin reveals one, but the video ends before we can see what happens after it is discovered.

Here’s the latest Holy Horror Mansion trailer, and it highlights many of the spirit and otherworldly elements in this sort of Yo-kai Watch successor.

This apparently won’t be the only time in 2026 that we hear about this title. Level-5 also confirmed it will hold some sort of cross-media event. There’s no time set for when that will happen. That did confirm that this series will be a cross-media project, much like how we saw a Yo-kai Watch anime and manga in addition to the games.

Holy Horror Mansion is in development for unspecified platforms.
