Shift Up announced the 3.5 Goddess of Victory: NIKKE anniversary update arrives on April 23, 2026, and that includes the alts SSR Anis: Star and SSR Neon: Vision Eye, as well as an entirely new SSR unit called Avistar. There will also be new costumes present, which are Dreaming Lake for Liberalio, Luna Light for Dorothy, Shining Light for Rapi: Red Hood, and the Starlight and TT Star ones for Anis: Star. The Star Anis event will also run during the update and feature a Tracing the Stars rhythm minigame, and the main campaign will get Chapters 45-46.
In terms of the three new characters, here’s what to expect from each one of them if you pull on their banners. Both SSR Anis: Star and Avistar launch after maintenance ends, while SSR Neon: Vision Eye’s starts on April 30, 2026. The Anis and Neon alts will show up in Ordinary Recruit and Mold Items after, but Avistar is a limited character.
- SSR Anis: Star – Defender with Twinkle Star rocket launcher who deals Electric damage and is a Tetra Line unit. Her skills boost allies’ defense or her own attack.
- SSR Avistar – Supporter with Lonely Pride machine gun who deals Electric damage and is an Elysion unit. She supports her team and can keep herself alive.
- SSR Neon: Vision Eye – Attacker with All Breaker rocket launcher who deals Electric damage and is a Missilis unit. She increases her own firepower and attack with her abilities.
There is also a three-part series that shows Anis’ past and highlights her pop star story alongside Pretty. Here’s the first part.
It continues with Anis showing the TT Star, aka Twinkle Tri-Star group episode. It highlights how Anis, Mint, and Prika worked together as a singing group. However, it hints at darker elements of that life and shows her deciding to go to the surface with a combat squad.
We then see an episode dedicated to Anis’ time in the field. It also explains how she got the Star armament and hints at her return to music.
Finally, there’s a full 3.5 Goddess of Victory: NIKKE trailer for the anniversary event with the SSR Anis: Star as the central figure.
As for the costumes, here’s the list of what to expect once the update arrives:
- Anis: Star – Starlight costume includes special animations for things like her Burst Skill and new voice acting, and it will be in the Costume Gacha.
- Anis: Star – TT Star costume has a unique standing pose and new voice acting, and it will be in the Costume Gacha.
- Brid – Black Moon costume will return to the Cash Shop until May 14, 2026 after the update.
- Diesel – Minight Strawberry costume will return to the Cash Shop until May 14, 2026 after the update.
- Dorothy – Luna Light costume has new voice acting and will be in the Luna Light Pass.
- Emma – Office Therapy costume will return to the Cash Shop until May 14, 2026 after the update.
- Grave – Beautiful You costume will return to the Cash Shop until May 14, 2026 after the update.
- Liberalio – Dreaming Lake costume includes special animations for things like her Burst Skill and new voice acting, and it will be in the Costume Gacha.
- Rapi: Red Hood – Shining Light costume will be in the May Mission Pass.
- Rosanna – Mis Dangerous costume will return to the Cash Shop until May 14, 2026 after the update.
- Snow White – White Knight costume will return to the Cash Shop until May 14, 2026 after the update.
As for the anniversary event, there are a few things to be aware of after the update. The Star Anis event’s first part starts on April 23, 2026, and the second appears on April 30, 2026. The Merch Bag event also tied to it runs once maintenance ends. Logging in after the update gets you the SSR Avistar unit for free and 10 Advanced Recruit Vouchers for the banners. If you log in for 14 days after the update, you can get a 3.5 Anniversary NIKKE Selection Box that lets you pick Avistar, Kilo, Mori, or Rei as a free unit and get items like Advanced Recruit Vouchers and development materials to level characters up.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is available for PCs and mobile devices, and the Anis: Star event storyline and 3.5 anniversary starts after maintenance on April 23, 2026.
