Bandai Namco announced a new entry in its Chara-Magnets that features 24 different Animal Crossing characters as magnets. Each package will cost 270円 (~$1.70). It is a random grab, so you don’t know which character you’ll get, but it guaranteed to come with one magnet, one of 10 stationary card designs, and a piece of gum that tastes like soda. While there’s no guaranteed worldwide release for it yet, past Chara-Magnets sets in the series appeared on places like Amazon and in Japanese grocery stores like Mitsuwa after their May 2022 debut.

The package is pretty similar to past releases. You get one magnet, one piece of gum, and one piece of paper. The stationary options are Acorn Card, Airmail Card, Bank of Nook Card, Gift Card, KK Slider Card, Lovely Hearts Card, Plumeria Card, Shapes Card, Shooting-stars Card, and Velvety Card. In terms of characters, it primarily consists of NPCs who serve functions on the island, like Tom Nook and Isabelle, but there are eight neighbors in the set as well.

The full list of characters represented, in numerical order, are as follows:

  1. Tom Nook
  2. Isabelle
  3. Timmy and Tommy

Here’s how all the Animal Crossing Chara-Magnets character magnets will look:

This isn’t the only Animal Crossing merchandise showing up in Japan this summer. Hori announced a line of controllers, headsets, and bags for the Switch 2 based on the most recent entry in the series. Likewise, each of these will be based on characters like Celeste and the Nooklings.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is on the Switch and Switch 2, and the new Chara-Magnets character magnet series will debut in August 2026 in Japan.
