The celebrations will kick off with the upload of an explanation video and the publication of a Story Guide book that spans around six hundred pages. Shueisha will also release the eighth standalone tankobon volume of Boruto -Two Blue Vortex- and a colored version of the new arc’s first volume. In addition, the company is planning to produce the first character figure based on the new arc.

Masashi Kishimoto launched Boruto -Naruto Next Generations- as the direct sequel to Naruto in 2016. It stars the eponymous Boruto as the son of Naruto. A major arc update, titled Boruto -Two Blue Vortex-, launched in Japan in 2024 and in the West in 2025. As of April 2026, the latest standalone volume released in Japan was the seventh volume of Two Blue Vortex in February 2026.

The official anniversary day for the Boruto manga series would be based on its first appearance in the 2016 23rd Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, which Shueisha published on May 9, 2016. The company will launch celebratory projects for the Boruto 10th anniversary on June 4, 2026.
