There are now two JRPG soundtracks available to stream online from two different companies, with Monster Hunter Stories 3 and NieR Replicant music now available online worldwide. Each one is available on multiple services. However, Capcom released its album on fewer platforms, with it only on Deezer, Spotify, and Tidal. Meanwhile, the Square Enix one is available via additional options like Amazon, Apple Music, and YouTube

Of the two albums, the NieR Replicant soundtrack is the older of the two. It is based on the updated rerelease that appeared, rather than the original NieR on the PS3 and Xbox 360. However, that mainly means new arrangements and recordings. It is also the shorter of the two new options online, coming in at only 45 total tracks. Many of the tracks have “ver.1.22474487139…” in the title, to more immediately identify them as being from the newest take on the story.

Meanwhile, the Monster Hunter Stories 3 soundtrack that’s streaming is a much more substantial one from a recent release. It consists of two discs worth of music from the game, with all 102 songs present. Capcom also released an official trailer for that online to offer samples of what to expect. It shows a list of the tracks available and plays clips while highlighting the title of the one being played.
