The Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin mobile game Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan will shut down after only five months. The title appeared on Android and Apple iOS devices in February 2026, and the final day will be July 27, 2026. It only appeared in Japan. This also means the planned PC launch is canceled. Like in the original Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, the Hinuka Junreitan spin-off involved both combat and growing rice. Lady Kamuhitsuki again tasked Sakuna with a new revitalization assignment. She and new character Hinuka fight and work alongside each other and both returning and new characters like Tama, Koyomi, and Kokorowa.

A number of additions happened ahead of the shutdown. There is a “Thank You” campaign that will dole out all different types of currency for free, as well as make it easier to obtain certain materials and increase rice harvest yields. If you finish the second chapter of the story, there will be more difficult night exploration elements. It will also cut off the online store purchases on May 28, 2026.
Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan mobile game appeared on Android and Apple iPS devices between February 5, 2026 and July 27, 2026. Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin appeared on the Switch, PS4, and PC worldwide. A manga appeared in Japan, and an anime based on the game appeared worldwide.
