Bandai Namco and Shueisha announced that there will be a new line of One Piece keychains in Gashapon capsule machines featuring the character art and designs from the NBA crossover. These acrylic charms will start to show up at the end of May 2026 in Japan. Since essentially all of the One Piece gacha items do eventually show up in North American machines, to the point the anime and manga series got its own page on the official site, we will eventually see these items worldwide after the Japanese debut.
These items follow other merchandise based on this crossover, which includes items like figures. It also means it respects the established ties between certain characters and teams. As an example, when this collaboration first came up, Monkey D. Luffy always tended to be linked with the LA Lakers. Every one features a random acrylic charm with the person in action and wearing a uniform. A ball chain keychain is attached via a loop at the top. Each try for one costs 300円 (~$2) in Japan, and we don’t know the US or Canadian price yet.
Here’s the full list of One Piece x NBA character crossover keychains we’ll eventually see in Bandai Namco Gashapon machines.
- Enel in an Oklahoma City Thunder uniform.
- Gear 5 Form Monkey D. Luffy in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform.
- Nami in a Denver Nuggets uniform.
- Portgas D. Ace in a New York Knicks uniform.
- Roronoa Zoro in a Boston Celtics uniform.
- Sabo in a Memphis Grizzlies uniform.
- Sanji in an Indiana Pacers uniform.
- Shanks in a Chicago Bulls uniform.
- Trafalgar Law in a Golden State Warriors uniform.
- Yamato in a Milwaukee Bucks uniform.
And this is how those keychains will look.

The One Piece x NBA character crossover keychains with acrylic charms will show up in Japan at the end of May 2026, and we should see it in North America after that. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan, the anime is on services like Crunchyroll and Netflix, the first two live action seasons are on Netflix, Lego One Piece will be on Netflix in September 2026, and a new animated adaptation called The One Piece is heading to Netflix as well.
