After delays and a period of uncertainty, Yacht Club Games shared a release date for Mina the Hollower. It’s The Legend of Zelda style adventure will finally launch on May 29, 2026, and the next major title from the Shovel Knight creator. The company also confirmed it will cost $19.99 and shared a new trailer that reminds us all of how it looks. As a reminder, this means it will show up about seven months after it was initially expected to.

As a reminder, many of the Mina the Hollower delays came up to ensuring final quality. When it announced it wouldn’t be out on Halloween back at the beginning of October 2025, it cited “final polish and balancing” as the reasons. However, at that time it also said that wouldn’t be a “major delay,” but then that ended up lasting about 30 weeks.

Here’s the full release date trailer for Mina the Hollower. It offers a look at some of the scenarios and segments we’ll see in the game. It’s designed to feature an overhead, Game Boy Color sort of aesthetic, just like some of the early The Legend of Zelda games.

Mina the Hollower will come to the Switch, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Only digital copies are confirmed for now. However, Yacht Club Games did eventually release retail copies of Shovel Knight after launch.
