Bandai Namco Filmworks and Sunrise have announced launch details for Armored Trooper Votoms: Die Graue Hexe. Following the initial reveal in January 2026, the studios revealed that this brand-new Votoms entry will appear as a two-part theatrical series. The first part will launch in Japanese theaters on November 20, 2026.
The new announcement also came with more confirmations in the staff list. The Votoms original creator, Ryosuke Takahashi, will return as the supervising director. The soundtrack in these movies will be made by Kenji Kawai, who is best known for his works in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. The mechanical designers in this entry will be Yoshihiro Sono and Shinobu Tsuneki, who have respectively worked on Votoms: AT Stories and Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These.

The Bandai Namco group also revealed plans for upcoming releases of Votoms: Die Graue Hexe merchandise from two of its subsidiaries—Bandai Spirits and Megahouse. The former will release a High Grade (HG) model kit and Hi-Metal R figure of the titular character’s Scopedog in the Desert color scheme. The latter will produce several 8cm (~3.15in) tall model kits as part of the VA-KIT Platoon line.
More details on the merchandise lineup will be available at the 64th Shizuoka Hobby Show, which will run at Twin Messe Shizuoka on May 16-17, 2026.


Armored Trooper Votoms: Die Graue Hexe will launch in theaters across Japan on November 20, 2026. The second part of the duology will appear at a later time.
