The Virtual Boy Nintendo Classics NSO app on the Switch and Switch 2 now features a larger library of games for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers, as we got a new batch of titles today. There are five new titles in the global versions of the app, while the Japanese one got six more options. Anyone with the higher tier of the subscription service, which costs $49.99 per year for one person.
The lists of games for the different regions are very similar. It’s just that Japan gets one extra one that is different and was an exclusive to that area originally. So everyone gets access to the following games:
- Jack Bros
- Space Invaders Virtual Collection
- Vertical Force
- Virtual Bowling
- V-Tetris
The Japan-exclusive extra one is Virtual Fishing. That is, as you’d expect, a fishing simulation.
Here’s the English-language trailer for all five of the games that are available everywhere. Action, puzzle, sporting, and shooting games are all represented in this batch.
And we can see the Japanese version of the video below. The exclusive game comes up at the 52 second mark, in case you’re curious about it.
The Virtual Boy Switch and Switch 2 NSO games and headset peripherals are available for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack members to access and play.
