People can now play Blue Archive on a Steam Deck with no issues, as Nexon’s May 26, 2026 update verified the PC version of the game. The company also added a Steam Startup Movie to commemorate the occasion. The latter, naturally, doesn’t require a person to play the game in order to acquire it.
The Blue Archive Steam Startup Movie features Arona, the mascot character and host of the various videos on the game’s YouTube channels. She’s an AI that assists our avatar. That video involves her standing in front of the desks in the Shittim Chest operating system classroom. She touches the screen and blinks. It’s then that we see the OS “start” and the obscured text with part of the lines, “We thirst for the seven Wailings. We bear the Koan of Jericho.” It costs 3,000 points to purchase from The Points Shop.
Blue Archive first showed up on the PC back in July 2025. It started out as a mobile exclusive when it first launched worldwide in 2021. It appeared on Steam when that version did debut.
Blue Archive is available for PCs and mobile devices, and it is compatible with the Steam Deck.
