The Pokemon Company International shared details about the Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration anniversary expansion for the trading card game, and it turns out it only features foil cards. These will launch on September 16, 2026 and follow sets like Chaos Rising, though pre-orders aren’t open just yet at sites. Booster packs are confirmed. It is unknown if we will also see Elite Trainer Boxes or other sorts of special boxes like the Deluxe Pin Collection.

We do know some of the cards we’ll find in the set already. There will be 30 Pikachu cards in it. There will also be 30 returning cards now in foil of other characters, though those can’t be used in Standard play. The booster packs will feature one foil Basic Energy in addition to the foil trading cards.
