Stranger Than Heaven Gets Release Date and Tupac’s Likeness

As part of the Summer Game Fest 2026 announcements, Sega and RGG revealed a release date for Stranger than Heaven and confirmed the game will involve Tupac Shakur’s likeness for one character. We’ll see it show up on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on January 15, 2027.

The announcement also explained how it happened. It turns out Snoop Dogg was involved with the Tupac likeness appearing in-game. The performer’s estate agreed for a character model based on him to show up.

A part of Stranger than Heaven involves organizing musical shows. It’s why Snoop Dogg was revealed as one of the first folks involved with the title. Additional musicians were confirmed when Sega mentioned the Winter launch window. At that time, we learned Ado, Satoshi Fujihara, and Tori Kelly will play parts. Also, the three of them will work with Snoop Dogg on the theme song.

The Stranger than Heaven release date is January 15, 2027, and it will come to the consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X, as well as the PC.
