Summer Game Fest 2026 Nintendo Direct Airs Tomorrow

Nintendo confirmed it will hold a Summer Game Fest Direct presentation going over Switch and Switch 2 games on June 9, 2026. This will take place at 7am PT/10am ET. We’ll be able to tune in and watch it on YouTube and Twitch, as usual. The company confirmed its appearance via Nintendo Today, before doing so on social media and YouTube. It will last 50 minutes and be followed by a Treehouse presentation.

There are a number of Nintendo games that we know should be getting announcements and release dates soon, but haven’t been the subject of new updates yet. Both Intelligent Systems’ Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods are two of them. It’s also possible we could see some more details about Splatoon Raiders, which comes out on July 23, 2026, or unannounced games for the second half of the year could appear.

This will also be a chance to see some third-party reveals for both the Switch and Switch 2. It’s possible there could be a Persona 4 Revival Switch 2 confirmation or Metaphor Re:Fantazio port announced.

This is only the second general Nintendo Direct to show up in 2026. The first was a February 2026 Partner Showcase that focused on third-party releases. Aside from that, there were more dedicated presentations for games like Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream and Star Fox and two videos dedicated to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

The Summer Game Fest Nintendo Direct will happen at 7am PT/10am ET on June 9, 2026.
