Atlus announced it will hold a special demo event in Japan where we can play the first thirty minutes of Persona 4 Revival. The event will take place on July 12, 2026, and we will have until June 21, 2026 to get in any applications to take part.
You can access the application form through the official website. If you’ve been chosen, you will receive an e-mail on or around July 3, 2026. You can only apply once, and if Atlus catches you applying multiple times, it will disqualify you. To apply, you’ll need to have a Twitter account and be over eighteen. The questionnaire will ask you for information like your name, your Twitter ID, and your experience with the Persona series. While the form does not specify that you need to be a Japanese citizen, it specifically asks which prefecture you live in, so it’s likely that it’s only intended for residents.
Persona 4 Revival will be a remake of Persona 4, which first came out in 2008 for the PS2. In the latest trailer for the game, we saw a glimpse of the in-game UI, models, scenes, and other assets. The story of Persona 4 has the protagonist move to the country town of Inaba, where he and his new friends must solve a string of mysterious supernatural murders by going into the TV world and fighting monsters using the powers of their Personas.
Persona 4 Revival will come out on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC on February 18, 2027.
