At the start of May 2026, Falcom and NIS America confirmed that Switch 2 and PS5 versions of The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure would appear. Now we got exact release dates as Summer Game Fest 2026 ended. Those will both be out on September 10, 2026. Standard digital copies are $39.99, and NISA is selling a Deluxe Edition physical set at places like Amazon for $69.99 that includes both games.

In the case of the Deluxe Edition of The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure, both consoles’ versions are pretty much identical. You get a copy of both games, a digital copy of the soundtrack, and a set of art cards. The cards have the main characters Lloyd, Elie, Randy, Tia, and KeA on them. However, note that the Switch 2 version is a game-key card and not actually a cartridge with both JRPGs on it.

There’s a new trailer to accompany the Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure Switch 2 and PS5 release dates. It’s another opportunity to see how the two JRPGs will look and run on the consoles. The first 40 seconds are dedicated to the first game in the pair. Then, if you’re hoping to avoid any spoilers, the portion dedicated to the second part comes up at the 41 second mark.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure will come to the Switch 2 and PS5 on September 10, 2026, and both games are already on the Switch, PS4, and PC worldwide. In Japan, both games also appear on the PSP and Vita.
