HoYoVerse teased a Genshin Impact anime short focused on the Marionette Fatui Harbinger Sandrone called “The Final Gift” earlier in June 2026, and now the animated feature is live on YouTube. It is available in English and with Japanese voice acting. It offers new insights into the character ahead of her playable debut in Luna VIII.

As expected from an anime short about a Fatui Harbinger, this Genshin Impact animated video focuses not only on Sandrone, but other characters like Columbina. Things begin with the funeral of the inventor, researcher, and Lord-Artificer Alain Guillotin. We then see Sandrone after the fact, with Columbina coming to wake her for the organization’s meeting. We then see a flashback of Sandrone interacting with Alain, offering insights into her background. It also shows her meeting Pulonia for the first time.

Here’s the full “The Final Gift” animated Genshin Impact short.

While we know we’ll be able to play as the Marionette ahead of Snezhnaya coming to Genshin Impact and saw Sandrone play a big part in the Luna series of patches, there’s still a bit of time before Luna VII ends. Right now, Lohen is available during the second half of that update.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, and we can expect the Marionette Sandrone to be playable when Luna VIII arrives on July 1, 2026.
