The Pokemon Company has revealed that it is working with Casio to produce Pokemon-branded watches based on the latter’s G-Shock watch brand. The new product will be available in Japan in July 2026.
This watch will appear as a derivation of the GA-110 G-Shock watch. Although most of the watch will be white, it will also feature red text with green and blue buttons. These colors will primarily act as references to the 1996 Game Boy releases of Pocket Monsters Red, Green, and Blue in Japan, although the watch will feature the global English Pokémon logo as opposed to the Japanese Pocket Monsters one.
The watch’s band will feature a total of 30 Pokemon to coincide with the franchise’s 30th anniversary. It will feature the three starter Pokemon from each of the nine existing generations, with Pikachu, Eevee, and Mew rounding up the roster.
Casio will sell the watch with a tax-inclusive price tag of ¥33,000 (~$204). The company will open a lottery for pre-orders of this watch on its Japanese online store. However, this store will strictly limit access to Japan only, and it will not accept deliveries to proxy shipping addresses either.
A trailer promoting the watch is also available to view on the Casio G-Shock YouTube channel:
