Back in February 2026, FuRyu released a new Flower Fairy Hatsune Miku noodle stopper figure based on the camellia flower in Japan. As expected, it took a few months for it to become widely available worldwide. Now that we can find the budget $25 item everywhere, it’s striking to see how unique the design looks for the Vocaloid and how intricate it manages to be for the money.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, a Japanese noodle stopper figure always involves a character posed in a sitting position. This means they could be perched on the edge of. shelf or an existing item, or balanced on a cup of instant noodles. As for this line itself, each figure involves Hatsune Miku in a costume inspired by a different kind of flower. In the past, we’ve seen anemone, clover, cosmos, lily, and morning glory ones too. This means that we can see sort of “out of character” or unusual attire, which is the case with the camellia version. In a good way, of course.

The Hatsune Miku Camellia Flower Fairy noodle stopper figure is over five inches tall, though she may feel a bit shorter since she is sitting. The first thing is how thin and delicate the parts felt. She arrives fully assembled, so you don’t need to worry about attaching her twintails or any precarious limbs that might fall off during placement. But the width of her arms, legs, and pigtails, paired with the thinness of some of her hair accessories, sandal decorations, and embellishments surprised me. For a budget figure, there’s so much detail here, and the paint job for some of those smaller accents is very well done.

And there are a lot of those little special touches. There are parts of her hair that gradually fade to become translucent. The back of her cape has a small signature flower on the back, and there’s another small flower knot fastening her collar. The camellia in her hair looks fantastic, as do the ones on her shoes and the embossed references to ones on the gold metallic accents on her cape’s straps. The eye paint job also makes her look quite mature and elegant.

There’s only one element of the Hatsune Miku Camellia Flower Fairy noodle stopper figure that felt awry to me. It’s the decorative knot on her left shoulder. The positioning and style is great. I like that it is there. I don’t care for the color, however. It’s this odd shade of chartreuse green that doesn’t appear anywhere else on the figure, and I felt like it threw things off.

That element aside, the Camellia Flower Fairy Hatsune Miku noodle stopper figure is a really precise and complex item given its nature. This is a FuRyu figure you could easily find for under $30. Even so, there are transparent elements to her hair, the paint job on the one I bought is pretty great, all the parts are already secured so there’s no worry about any assembly, and there are a lot of tiny finishing touches that are quite detailed. It’s a great take on the character.
