Bandai Namco revealed new Pokemon bath bombs that it will sell in Japan in August 2026 at 550 yen (~$3.40) apiece. The product will have the full title “Bikkura Tamago: Metamon to Issho!” which could be translated to “Surprising Egg: Together with Ditto!” While there’s no worldwide release date yet, the past one from the company that involved a fishing pole with bath bomb and water-type characters did show up on Amazon worldwide.

As the product’s subtitle implies, Ditto will be the star of this lineup. A purchase of this package will come with an egg-shaped bath bomb weighing 115 grams (~4 oz) with a purple color that resembles Ditto. As it dissolves inside a bath, it will not only produce a lavender fragrance, as it will also spawn the Pokemon mascot figure hidden inside.

A total of five different figures will be available from this collection. People will be able to see Ditto paired with Pikachu, Eevee, or the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters—Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly. However, the figure from each egg will appear at random, and the package will not have any hints about the exact figure contained within.

Here are the sample images showing the initial egg-shaped bath bomb and the possible resulting figures:

The new Ditto-themed Pokemon bath bombs will be gradually available for purchase in stores across Japan starting from August 12, 2026.
