Silent Hill: The Short Message will get a PS5 physical release on a disc through Limited Run Games. The title launched as a free PlayStation Store download back in January 2024. Pre-orders for a $69.99 Deluxe Edition will open at 7am PT/10am ET on July 10, 2026, ahead of an expected Q1 2027 release. There will be no standard release, and the only way to get the game on a disc will be through this bundle.
This collection means you get the PS5 physical copy of Silent Hill: The Short Message and a handful of other items tied to things we see in the game. A poster of this entry’s signature creature Sakura Head is part of of the bonus additions. So is an acrylic keychain of a sakura blossom. Finally, there’s a set of 10 art cards with Maya’s art of characters like her and Amelie will be in the bundle too.

This is one of multiple modern, original Silent Hill games that appeared following the canceled P.T. It was followed by Silent Hill f in September 2025. Next up is Silent Hill: Townfall, which comes to the PS5 and PC in September 2026.
Digital copies of Silent Hill: The Short Message are available for the PS5 now and physical copies release via Limited Run Games in Q1 2027. Pre-orders will be available between July 10, 2026 and August 9, 2026.
