New Gundam Anime Series and Game Head to SDCC 2026

Bandai Namco announced that we’ll learn about the new Gundam anime series and see the game Gundam Rogue Orbit at the 2026 San Diego Comic Con (SDCC). There will be a panel at the event, and the company confirmed on social media that a special program live stream will also appear on YouTube going over the reveal. All of its booth plans for the event appeared too.

We don’t know what the new Gundam anime series will be yet. We do know the panel revealing it is called “GUNDAM Showcase 2026 – Unveil the Next Gundam“and will happen at 10:30am PT on July 23, 2026. People at the con can head to Room 6BCF to attend and will get a gift bag while supplies last. The company already noted that will include a t-shirt, a Gundam Rogue Orbit EXBP-029 EX Base promo card for the series’ card game, a 1/144 RX-78-2 Gunpla workshop model kit, an inflatable Beam Saber, a mini poster for Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, a headband, booklet, and bag.

While people at the event will learn the Gundam first at the SDCC 2026 panel, anyone will be able to see the reveal on YouTube. That will appear via a special stream at 11am PT/2pm ET/8pm CET on July 23, 2026. The placeholder isn’t live on the account yet.

For attendees, the Gundam booth itself is at 3829 in the San Diego Convention Center, between Stern Pinball and Pluto TV and behind Konami. Gundam Rogue Orbit will be there. There will be photo ops and a store to buy merchandise. The new anime will also appear there. The free Gunpla workshop will be at Mezzanine 19 every day of the con.

The new Gundam anime series will be revealed worldwide during a special program stream at 11am PT/2pm ET/8pm CET on July 23, 2026. SDCC 2026 runs July 23-26, 2026. Gundam Rogue Orbit will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2027.
