While Pocketpair initially suggested it would raise the price of Palworld once the full game debuted, it now confirmed the cost will remain the same even when the 1.0 patch release happens. This means the game will stay $29.99 on all platforms. However, at the moment it is possible to get the early access version for $20.99, as it is part of the Steam Summer Sale until that ends on July 9, 2026.
In a social media post, Pocketpair explained the reasoning behind the decision not to raise the price of Palworld and make it cost more when 1.0 launches. Essentially, the company suggested it is a “thank you” gesture. It suggested that because it performed so well, it already exceeded expectations.
This comes after Palworld hit another hallmark ahead of the 1.0 debut. Since its January 2024 launch, it hit a 40 million player milestone across all platforms. A special trailer going over some of the updates and changes over the years appeared as an overview in honor of that occasion.
Palworld is in early access for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. On July 10, 2026 the 1.0 patch will launch for the game. The price of Palworld will remain $29.99 even after that full release, though the 30% off Steam sale is only in effect until July 9, 2026.
