In honor of the upcoming single-player spin-off Splatoon Raiders, a Splatoon 3 Splatfest will start at 5pm PT/8pm ET on July 10, 2026. It is expected to end on July 12, 2026, though depending on your time zone it might come to a close on July 13, 2026.
Since this is tied to the new game, the Splatoon 3 Splatoon Raiders Splatfest asks what type of ink tank and fighting approach we’d take in the spin-off. In that title, you can pick speed, power, or tactical tanks that affect the way you play and gadgets you equip when searching for treasure and attacking Salmonids. If you choose Speed, you side with Shiver. Selecting Power puts you on Frye’s team. Going with Tactics means you’re with Big Man.
There’s official art to go along with the event, which Nintendo shared on social media. It shows the members of Deep Cut in their outfits from Splatoon Raiders. You can see that image below.
Nintendo also announced there will be Splatfest icons available to earn via My Nintendo Platinum Points and taking part in the event. These look like Shiver, Frye, and Big Man and feature imagery tied to their three sides in the event.
Splatoon 3 is available to play on the Switch and Switch 2, and Splatoon Raiders will come to the Switch 2 on July 23, 2026.
