The Fire Emblem Twitter account has shared another character who’ll appear in Fortune’s Weave: Pieter. Pieter uses a bow and fights on Cai’s side.
According to his character description, Pieter is a fifteen-year-old boy who grew up with Cai, and the two are practically brothers. He has incredibly good eyesight, and he can even observe the stars in bright daylight. Though he is a killer shot with a bow and arrow, he can’t fight to his full potential thanks to his kind and timid personality. In a follow-up Tweet that shows Pieter conversing with Tiara, another childhood friend and fighter in Cai’s faction, we can see that the two are complete opposites. Pieter likes his mother’s homemade cooking, ginji fruit, and looking at clouds.
As a unit in battle, Pieter fights with bows. His Personal Skill, Sharpshooting, allows him to increase how far he can shoot when he uses Combat Arts. This will allow him to stay out of harm’s way while picking off enemies so that his companions can advance easier.
Kazutomi Yamamoto voices Pieter in the Japanese version of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. Some of Yamamoto’s prominent roles include Kio in Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, Midare Toushirou in Touken Ranbu, and Yuya Mochizuki in Another.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave will come out on September 17, 2026 for the Switch 2.
