Nintendo and FromSoftware shared details about the worldwide closed The Duskbloods Network Test, confirming it will kick off on August 21, 2026. This beta will only run for a single weekend. To take part, people will need to sign up at the official site starting on July 22, 2026.
The official site went over different requirements and a schedule for milestones for the closed The Duskbloods Network Test. Things kick off with people able to sign up between July 22-28, 2026. On August 7, 2026, Nintendo and FromSoftware will then contact folks and let people know about playing on August 7, 2026. Those who take part will need Nintendo Switch Online and a Switch 2 in order to take part.
From there, the companies will hold five play sessions between August 21-23, 2026. Each one will be designed to help check the game’s balance, see how the game server handles the load, and make sure the multiplayer experience is smooth and works well when large groups of people participate. Here are the exact dates and times, though those could change.
- August 21, 2026: 3am PT/6am ET to 7am PT/10am ET.
- August 21, 2026: 7pm PT/10pm ET to 11pm PT/2am ET.
- August 22, 2026: 11am PT/2pm ET to 3pm PT/6pm ET.

The Duskbloods will come to the Switch 2 in 2026 and the closed network test for it will be held August 21-23, 2026 worldwide.
