The key highlights of the merchandise lineup will be the exclusive sales of a Dodo Airlines-themed soft glider at ¥300 (~$1.85) and a wooden model kit of a seaplane that costs ¥1,650 (~$10.10).

Nintendo will also hold early sales of more DAL-themed merchandise, such as neck pillows, sleep masks, drinking mugs, and slippers. This implies that the company will sell these items again at another place and time.

In addition, the airport will hold a giveaway of stickers featuring Orville and Wilbur (who are better known in Japan as Maurie and Rodrie) to visitors who have performed a GPS check-in at the airport with the Nintendo Store mobile app.

The same Animal Crossing pop-up store will also sell merchandise based on other series characters, such as Tom Nook, Timmy, and Tommy. Tom Nook and K.K. Slider will notably make a full costume appearance at the airport respectively on August 22 and 23, 2026.

The Animal Crossing-themed pop-up event will appear at New Chitose Airport in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, from July 25 to August 30, 2026.
