MOMO appeared in all three entries of the Monolith Soft JRPG series Xenosaga and will be a Rare Blade in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 just like fellow crossover character and ally KOS-MOS. In her original game, she’s a Realian based on an actual human who loves the mascot character Bunnie. Here, that carries over as her weapon looks like a ball-and-chain flail with Bunnie’s face at the end. Here she’ll also have a second form, and between the two she’ll have light and dark elemental affinities. Her second form wears a pink and black outfit with bunny ears. The trailer starts to show her off at the 1:46 mark.

The overview trailer tends to go over every addition to show exactly how they look and work. That video starts by showing the new frame rate and resolution options. At the 40 second mark, the new Pyra and Mythra costumes described as a “special reward” show up. At about 55 seconds in, we see the Mech Assault mode that allows us to control Blades directly. We can choose six Blade characters out to fight on missions, and can swap between using them at any time.
