Capcom announced it will hold a Monster Hunter Wilds Championship Global Edition in September 2026 for select players. Four teams will be invited to face off in a hunt to determine the strongest. There’s no exact date yet for the event. However, the official site is open. To commemorate the occasion, company shared the two Challenge Quests that will be used in the event for everyone to test out and shared free Monster Hunter Wilds Wudwud Felyne armor and other cosmetic DLC.
Both of the new Challenge Quests are available immediately. Each one is an HR 100 or higher match in Wounded Hollow. They are referred to as “What Dreams May Soar.” One involves an Arch-Tempered Arkveld, while the other involves a Lagiacrus, a Xu Wu, and an Arch-Tempered Nu Udra. The weapon options for each are great sword, hammer, heavy bowgun, lance, light bowgun, and switch ax. The rewards for the fights weren’t mentioned on the site.
As for the free Monster Hunter Wilds DLC, you’ll actually need to head to the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or Steam to get the items. They aren’t being introduced via a new patch. There are four different kinds of Rolling Poogie Pendants that involve the pig-like mascot standing on top of a ball while wearing a little clown costume for a Hunter. There’s also a Happy-Go-Congakart Pendant of a Wudwud in a small go-kart that looks like a Conga or Congalala. Finally, the Felyne layered armor makes the cat mascot look like a Wudwud wearing a blue hat when worn.
