SuperGroupies announced it will sell three types of watches based on the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis), Saturn, and Dreamcast consoles worldwide. Each one costs 27,500 yen / $319.99. All of them are unisex models that are designed to be worn by adults. They will show up first in Japan in early February 2027, with a US release expected in early April 2027. (The Japanese site does ship worldwide via WorldShopping, if someone wouldn’t want to wait.) These are standard watches and not like the My Play smartwatches.
Each of these items are quartz watches designed to fit someone with a wrist between 150mm and 190mm. They are also all water resistant up to about 164 feet (5 atm). Each one features a face with the console’s colors and design, accents that look like the buttons on its controller, and the system’s logo in color. The back also features the logo etched into it. So the Mega Drive one has the 16-Bit lettering, cartridge slot, and Power and On icons, as well as the D-pad, three action buttons, and start button on the front, and the etched MD logo on the back. The Saturn watch is grey with the disc drive visible and power and access buttons, the D-pad, and its six action buttons. The Dreamcast one features the most elements on its face, as it is white with Power and Open buttons, the joystick replica, the D-pad replica, the action buttons, and an outline for the disc drive.
Here’s how all three of the watches will look after they arrive.

We’ve seen SuperGroupies cover Sega properties before. The company made and sold a number of accessories based on the Yakuza / Like a Dragonseries. There was also a Sonic the Hedgehog collection with a backpack, hat, and watch.
The SuperGroupies Sega Mega Drive (Genesis), Saturn, and Dreamcast console watches will show up in Japan in early February 2027 and the US in early April 2027. Pre-orders are open until August 30, 2026.
