Taito is going to continue rolling out new Hatsune Miku figures in its AMP+ (Artist Masterpiece+) line with the addition of two Snow Miku options. The line, which previously included other variants of the character like Sakura Miku, will get these in the near future. However, since these latest ones are so early in development, only the official art for the 2020 and 2021 Snow Miku versions is available now.
Both of these items will be prize figures, which means they will first debut in Japanese arcades. Only after will we start to see them worldwide. They’re also designed to be elaborate, with the crossover Miku x Rody one being an example of how the almost seven-inch tall items end up looking.
Taito didn’t specifically mention which one of these two AMP+ Hatsune Miku types of Snow Miku figures will be the ninth and tenth ones in the line. However, it did confirm the artists for each. The 2020 one is drawn by Teshima Nari. That’s the design with the shorter dress and musical themes to it. The 2021 variant’s artist is Nuudoru, who also retweeted and confirmed their involvement on social media. That design involves the longer, fuller dress.
Here’s how the official concept art for each of the two AMP+ Hatsune Miku figures based on 2020 and 2021 Snow Miku designs will look.

One of these types of figures is actually about to debut in Japan. It’s a Birthday 2026 figure. Both a standard one and one with a pink color scheme limited to Taito online crane games will show up near the end of August 2026.
The Snow Miku 2020 and 2021 figures from Taito are in development, and we should eventually see both worldwide.
