Studio51 and Toei Animation have confirmed the full release date for Expelled from Paradise -The Stellar Angel-. The visual novel game themed after the 2014 movie Expelled from Paradise will be available on the Switch and PC in late November 2026.
As informed during the visual novel’s initial reveal in May 2026, this visual novel will feature a new story starring Angela Balzac and Zarik “Dingo” Kajiwara, which takes place after the 2014 movie. Newly published screenshots for the game confirm that the player will follow the new story from Angela’s viewpoint. The visual novel will also have story branches with multiple endings, with some of them leading to irreversible bad endings.
One of the screenshots for this game also teases the K2-System where Angela may make sudden interjections in the middle of the visual novel story. This system appears to have two modes: Kizuna (Relationship Bonds) and Kakugo (Readiness).

Although Gen Urobuchi is known for writing the original 2014 movie and the upcoming November 2026 sequel movie, Expelled from Paradise: Resonance, he does not seem to have a direct involvement in this game. The visual novel’s official website revealed that the main writer here is Shotaro Teshirogi, who also did the Expelled from Paradise: mission.0 novel that features a story taking place before the 2014 movie.
Expelled from Paradise -The Stellar Angel- will be available in Japanese and English on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam worldwide on November 26, 2026, right at midnight in Japan’s time zone.
