From September 11 to 24, 2026, Shibuya Loft will sell Sanrio and Danganronpa collaboration merchandise. Illustrator Kei Mochizuki drew and designed the characters for this collaboration.

This collaboration features characters from the three mainline Danganronpa games teaming up with various Sanrio mascots. There are sixteen characters in this collaboration; the first game and V3 have five representatives, while Super Danganronpa 2 has six. The character and mascot match-ups are:

  • Akamatsu: My Sweet Piano
  • Celestia: Kuromi
  • Gundham: Kuririn
  • Hinata: Tuxedosam
  • Iruma: Goropikadon
  • Ishimaru: Pekkle (with glasses)
  • Junko: Hello Kitty
  • Kirigiri: Marroncream
  • Komaeda: Cinnamoroll
  • Mioda: Chococat
  • Naegi: Cinnamoroll
  • Nanami: My Melody
  • Ouma: Kuromi
  • Saihara: Pochacco
  • Shinguji: Pokopon Nikki
  • Tsumiki: My Sweet Piano

Though Naegi and Komaeda sharing Cinnamoroll might be a joke about how they also share the same voice actress (Megumi Ogata) in the Japanese version of the games, that link doesn’t exist between the other doubles (Celestia and Ouma, Tsumiki and Akamatsu).

On September 11 to 13, 2026, people who have gotten advance tickets can enter first. Non-ticket holders can enter after that. This rule is to prevent overcrowding. The lottery for advance tickets will be on LivePocket-Ticket-. For every 2000 JPY you spend, you can receive a random illustration card, too. Goods include acrylic keychains, pins, stickers, and towels. No singular piece of merchandise includes all the characters. They’re split based on game or character, so you can only rep your specific favorite rather than your love of the entire series.

The Danganronpa and Sanrio Kei Mochizuki collection at Shibuya Loft will be available from September 11 to 24, 2026. The remake of the second game, Super Danganronpa 2×2, will come out in early 2027 for the PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch, Switch 2, and Windows PC.
