Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live ended up being the source of two bits of Mega Man news tied to a Mega Man Dual Override Protoman appearance and pair of Pragmata skins. The new trailer highlighted gameplay and characters, including the teaser and a Twinkle Girl boss. The crossover costumes will appear in 2026.
First, here’s the Mega Man Dual Override trailer that highlighted the new gameplay and teased Protoman. We primarily saw Mega Man getting Custom Chips and using them to fight against various enemies, as well as going through differentstages. The one new boss shown off was Twinkle Girl, who appeared at the end of the video below.
As for the new Pragmata Mega Man and Roll skins, those will show up in 2026. There’s no exact release date for the costumes yet. We do know that Hugh will get one based on Mega Man that includes a helmet that resembles the character’s head. Meanwhile, Diana will just get a familiar dress.

Mega Man: Dual Override is in development for the Switch, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC and will appear in 2027. Pragmata is on the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC and will get Mega Man and Roll costumes in 2026.
