Gust and Koei Tecmo revealed service for the mobile and PC game Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator will end in Japan on November 25, 2026. Support for the English version already ended on March 28, 2025.
More information about the closure of Atelier Resleriana appeared on the game’s official website. The development team thanked fans for all their years of support, though it did not give a reason behind the end of service. As of August 27, 2026, you will no longer be able to purchase premium items or currency. Premium gacha banners, such as the 72-hour limited gacha, will no longer be available too. You can apply for refunds between November 26, 2026 and February 24, 2027. Then, on February 24, 2027, refunds will end, and the application will no longer be available for download.
Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator is a mainline game in the Atelier series that follows Resna and Valeria. Their goal is to investigate the disappearance of a comet and reach World’s End. It is also tied to Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian. Like other Atelier games, Atelier Resleriana features item synthesis and turn-based battles. This game also includes characters from previous games, such as Ryza. The game will still get events and new content until its closure. For example, there will still be gacha banners and the 33rd chapter of the main story will appear. There will also be event battles and updates, such as fixes for daily mission rewards.
Atelier Resleriana will end service in Japan on November 25, 2026. You can still play the game until that happens, and it’s available on PC and mobile devices.
