Shueisha and Toei Animation have confirmed the launch date for Dragon Ball Super: Beerus. Following the reveal at the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour in April 2026, the companies have announced that the new anime show will premiere on Japanese television on October 11, 2026.
The new Dragon Ball anime will appear first on Fuji Television network channels across Japan on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 11:15 PM JST. Prime Video and U-Next will have the earliest exclusive streaming availability not long after the Japanese TV premiere, on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 12:15 AM JST. Other streaming platforms will only get the same episodes on Thursdays at 12:15 AM JST.
The English version of this announcement separately confirms that a booth exhibit and panel of the new Beerus anime will appear at New York Comic Con 2026, which will take place at Empire Stage on October 8-11, 2026. Both language versions also reveal the opening and ending theme songs for the upcoming anime show. They will be “Onogami” by Megatera-Zero and “Kan Peki No Peki” by VK Blanka, respectively.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will premiere on Fuji Television channels across Japan on October 11, 2026, at 11:15 PM JST (10:15 AM ET). Those residing in New York, USA, can also catch an advance screening of the first episode at the anime show’s panel in New York Comic Con on October 8, 2026.
