Final Fantasy Legends’ Shadowy Dancer From The Desert Has A Chapter To Herself

We’ve seen the dancer job in many Final Fantasy games, but while Square Enix gave a bard a back story there hasn’t been a "Dancer" character. (OK, I suppose the slamdancing moogle Mog fits this role, but he’s remembered for being a moogle unlike Edward the Bard.)

Final Fantasy Legends: Warriors of Light and Darkness, an episodic mobile phone game, has a dancer chapter starring Matoya. She’s one of the game’s heroines on the Darkness side. For generations, Matoya’s family have been linked to dancing. She performs inside the desert’s entertainment district in a pub called Garden Garden.

Matoya has a calm demeanor and a youthful outlook on life, but she’s also connected to the ultimate weapon the Kingdom of Avalon is building…

Playing through Maytoya’s chapter adds the dancer class to the game, which can cure the party with Cure Waltz, drain MP using Aspil Samba, and debilitate enemies with Weak Polka.
