Tomy knows Naruto is popular and they aren’t stopping the train of Naruto games anytime soon. Coming out on July 10th in Japan is Naruto Shippuuden Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu Gekitou! Naruto vs. Sasuke, the next installment of the 2D Naruto platformer series. As you can see from the screenshots this DS game doesn’t look considerably different from the previous installment, Naruto Shippuuden: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu 5 or for that matter any of the GBA Naruto games.
The gameplay isn’t atypical from the other installments in the series either, but there is a twist. In Naruto Shippuuden Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu Gekitou! Naruto vs. Sasuke you get to mesh the talents of two ninjas. Some of the resulting combinations let Sakura throw Naruto into a wave of enemies and allow him to ride one of Sai’s ink creatures. In addition to the revised Team 7 support characters such as Tenten are in the game too.
