Sony will release the Metallic Blue slim PSP color in Japan as part of a “value pack” that includes a pouch, charger, wrist strap, 32 MB Memory Stick Pro Duo and a useless for importers D-terminal TV cable for 23,800 yen ($230) on July 17. Residents in Japan can add on the One Seg tuner for an extra 6,000 yen ($58), which brings the final price of the One Seg pack to 29,800 yen ($288). However, at that price the Madden Entertainment Pack coming to North America in August sounds like a much better deal. Sony Computer Entertainment’s blue PSP bundle includes a copy of Madden 09, a UMD video of NFL clips, a 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo and a code to download Beats for $30 less. Two weeks earlier Sony Computer Entertainment Japan will sell the Cinnabar Red slim PlayStation 2 in Japan for 16,000 yen ($155). This color was previously released by Sony Computer Entertainment Asia right around Lunar New Year. Images courtesy of Sony.
