Over 2 million copies of Advent Children sold worldwide

Square-Enix is probably happy that they didn’t give up on animation after Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. The Final Fantasy VII sequel, Advent Children, sold 2.4 million copies of the DVD/UMD worldwide. The movie was released on April 25th in North America where 1.3 million units were sold. Another million copies were sold in Japan since September 2005.
