Namco Bandai made a bunch of Super Sentai video games for Japan, mostly of the action or fighting variety. That’s why Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Let’s Gokai Galleon (Pirate Squad Gokaiger: Let’s Gokai Galleon) stands out.

It’s a Super Sentai shooter.

You control the Gokai Galleon, Captain Marvelous’ pirate ship, and shoot enemies in deep space. Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Let’s Gokai Galleon is played entirely with the touch screen. Players tap targets to lock on to them and flick to fire. Shoot down eight enemies and you can temporarily transform into the invincible Gokai Oh.

Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Let’s Gokai Galleon is available on iTunes for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch devices (3rd generation or later), and iPad.
