Dragon Quest X: Waking of the Five Tribes is a Wii game and a Wii U game. The Wii U version will have powered up graphics. Players in both versions will be in the same world. The game will also support USB keyboards.

Dragon Quest X may also have a Nintendo 3DS feature. Players can transfer their character data to their 3DS and meet other players via Streetpass. When you transfer data back to Wii or Wii U you’ll see the characters you met in Dragon Quest X. This feature is under development.
