Moe art made for Cave’s next shooter

Cave often goes in deviant directions when it comes to the setting and art for their games. This is the company who made a bullet hell shooter where you command an army of flying pigs. Canned Dogs points us to Japanese blog Saganami Kaihen who found out Cave is working on another shooter. This time they pulled POP to do the illustration and make moe style characters for the upcoming shmup. The design is reminiscent of Otomedius, but “cuter” to suit the moe style. Strange, but at least we’re getting another Cave shooting game in the future. I believe the last one was Deathsmiles and that was pretty awesome.
