AOL buys GameDaily

Once the self proclaimed “independent voice of gaming” is now part of the AOL family. The deal was privately done for an undisclosed amount of money. AOL plans to keep the GameDaily brand alive and increase the editorial staff. AOL already has their own video game division, AOL Games and they own fellow gaming blog Joystiq via owning Weblogs Inc.
