Spike is publishing the third iteration of the Kenka Banchou series on the PSP and my first thought after seeing it was 3D River Ransom. The two titles place high school delinquents center stage in a non stop punching fest. Well, you have to stop to chat with rival gangs before a brawl begins. Interestingly, your choices during the conversation determines who gets to strike first.
Fights in Kenka Banchou 3: Zenkoku Seiha are over the top with high school kids throwing waves of ground skimming energy. You only control one character who happens to be a gang leader and powerful enough to knock some sense into multiple opponents at once. After you crush your rivals you can hit on girls. No high school game would be complete without dating events. Since there are text events Kenka Banchou 3: Zenkoku Seiha won’t be the most import friendly game on the market, but it’s rather unique. Curious minds with a hint of bloodlust might want to give Kenka Banchou 3: Zenkoku Seiha a look when it arrives in Japan on November 27.
