If you want to tweak the mechanics in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 grab the free Heroes & Heralds mode downloadable content.
Capcom just released the extra mode, which contains 104 ability cards. Equip a Mega Man X card to give Phoenix Wright (or any character!) an air dash and extra jumps. The Rathalos card poisons opponents when you use a crossover attack at the cost of one hyper combo gauge. Cyclops adds chip damage to all attacks. Heroes & Heralds mode has its own leaderboard too and won’t crossover with online rankings.
Speaking of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 here’s another look at the PlayStation Vita version. New for this release is Ultimate Controller mode, which brings Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition style touch screen controls to the PS3 version of the game and replay mode.
