Taito will have its own little space at Tokyo Game Show away from everything Final and Fantasy. Half of this space, determined by titles not actual square footage, will be filled with Cooking Mama. Cooking Mama 2 for the Wii and Gardening Mama possibly with some of its four player mini-games will be at the show. Gardening Mama must be nearing completion since Taito plans to release it this winter.
Space Puzzle Bobble, another Taito game we’re just learning about, is also coming out in the winter. More specifically, December 18. Space Puzzle Bobble contains a story mode, challenge mode, four player battles, and another reason to own a paddle controller. Like Space Invaders Extreme it’s being priced as a “budget” game in Japan for 3,990 yen ($35). Taito also has another Tetsudou Seminar train quiz game, but you probably want to see screenshots of Super Puzzle Bobble instead of hearing about that.
