In Kid Icarus: Uprising’s multiplayer mode there is a super powerful weapon called the “Genesis” players can pick up by finding three parts on the battlefield. Gather them and your character will have an edge on the battlefield. A new multiplayer video also demoed battlefields with grind rails a la Dissidia: Final Fantasy.
In single player mode, players can change the game’s difficulty using a slider. You can make shooting sections easier, but you’ll earn less hearts. Crank up the difficulty and you’ll earn more hearts. A video showed Pit earning one heart per enemy shot down compared to half a large heart, but enemies were more aggressive.
Sakurai demoed the game’s AR features, which were revealed at E3. This time a video showed a status menus on the bottom screen with HP and so forth.
